Thanks again to the excellent feedback from our customers, we have added the Video Archive (Recording) feature to our production platform. Now all Millicast customers can record live streams, preview, and manage the recordings from the online dashboard.
You will continue to have all of the benefits of live broadcasting in real-time, now with the new ability to capture your live streams for distributing, post-processing, or replaying the streams at a later time.
The fees for the video archive storage are billed per GB and vary based on your pricing plan. To maximize affordability, storage fees are billed hourly and calculated over a period of 1 month. For example, if you stored 1 GB on our servers for 15 days @ $0.15 per GB/month, you would be billed approximately $0.075 for those 15 days of storage. The per GB price includes the storage along with the costs associated with the capturing and processing of the recordings.
